I LOVE this cord and thread called C-LON. It comes in many shade variations and saturated colors...the size D and AAA are perfect for bead weaving. The thicker cord (pictured) is great for use with bigger beads. I get mine from Caravan Beads...a great company...kind service, great stock, and great prices.
And some new rings on Etsy made with ribbons tied into bows.
ON ETSY... available in groups of 3, 6, or 12 stacking rings...or just one. These are really fun to make...using vintage pink whiteheart seed beads.
Some macro photos taken with Nikon D300 and macro lens, extension tube, and hand held reverse lens...different combos for different results. These aren't very good...they are just a learning exercise. Very hard to get good sharp focus when using a reverse lens, but it gets SO close up! Macro photos are of these two pods...
...in color AND B+W
I've been having fun creating jewelry from laminated paper images and shapes. These earrings are flower shaped die cuts of Kaffe Fassett fabric which I scanned, digitally enhanced, and printed on photo quality paper. The chain and earwire are oxidized sterling silver.
A Flower Necklace and Butterfly Earrings too....
Just got these vintage glass buttons in the mail. Can't wait to use them in jewelry!

I have to give a shout out to The Carrotbox for including me in her INCREDIBLE ring blog! "The Carrotbox is a site dedicated to all those wonderful rings made of glass, lucite, resin, plastic, jade, wood, bakelite and even stone — anything, as long as it's not metal!" Visit this sight to view and purchase many beautiful
rings, as well as learn some history of plastic. I've been addicted to the Carrotbox for over a year now!
